 What’s New for the 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class?

If you want a car that’s the cream of the crop, consider the 2021 Mercedes-Benz E-Class. The E-Class is the top-ranked midsize luxury car in 2021. It’s also voted as a top-rated car by Edmunds. The Mercedes-Benz checks off all the boxes with an exquisite design inside and out. It is also quiet, smooth, and comfortable, and it has a powerful engine under its hood. Even more, premium amenities come with the Mercedes-Benz this year, including a new steering wheel that provides additional comfort. The E-Class upgrades its infotainment for 2021 as well by replacing its COMAND® infotainment system with MBUX. A new hybrid powertrain debuts this year too, and the exterior has a refreshed appearance.

Features and performance for the 2021 E-Class vary depending on the trim and body style that you get. The E 350 is a sedan version of the E-Class. It has a turbo 2.0L engine that creates 255 HP in power. The E 350 has simulated leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, and heated front seats. It gets a 12.3-inch display and the newly-added MBUX infotainment system.

The E 450 4MATIC® is available in the sedan body style and a wagon, convertible, and coupe design. The E 450 also gets the MBUX system in 2021. It offers a new display screen as well with improved navigation. The E 450 has a similar cabin composition compared to the E 350. Wireless charging, a 12.3-inch touchscreen display, a panoramic sunroof, and premium leather material for the seats are all standard on the E 450. The E 450 debuts the new hybrid system offered on the Mercedes-Benz E-Class this year, which is a turbo 3.0L V6 engine that cranks out 362 HP for maximum power and 369 LB-FT for top torque.

Another option in the E-Class is the AMG® E 53. This model is offered in coupe, sedan, and convertible body styles. It has many of the same interior features as the E 350 and E 450, but it differs in performance. The AMG® has a turbo six-cylinder engine under its hood capable of 429 HP and 384 LB-FT in torque. 4MATIC® all-wheel drive with a sport-tuned suspension is standard. Both AMG® models also have their own sporty exterior styling accents.

Last in the series is the AMG® E 63 S, which you can get as a sedan or a wagon. The AMG® E 63 S is built with a V8 engine under its hood that cranks out an impressive power volume at 603 HP. Larger 20-inch wheels and a custom exhaust enhance its powerful presence.
