Tasteful looks and exceptional handling defines the 2025 Mercedes-Benz E-Class luxury sedan. The lineup this year includes a high-performance AMG model among the following four trims: E 350, E 350 4MATIC, E 450 4MATIC, and AMG E 53 Hybrid.
Elegant and Sporty Design
The E-Class is a sport sedan with an aerodynamic body, spacious dimensions, and bold details such as the Mercedes Star set into a black panel grille connected to sleek LED headlamps. The athletic performance of this car is enhanced by the front apron’s aggressive sculpting, flared side sills, and diffuser-style rear valance.
Inside, the cabin is spacious with a natural grain black ash wood trim and a leather steering wheel with sculpted side grips and a matte silver trim on the spokes. You can also opt for a leather-free interior with the optional MB-Tex material known for durability and its supple feel.
Dynamic Driving Capacities
The E 350 base trim features a 2.0L inline-4 turbo engine with mild hybrid drive delivering up to 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. For up to 577 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque, opt for the AMG E 53 Hybrid sedan featuring an AMG-enhanced 3.0L inline-6 turbo engine with a 120kW permanently synchronous electric motor.
Standard features to improve driving dynamics include the Agility Control feature that automatically adjusts individual shock absorbers based on the road surface and driving style as well as the Dynamic Select function to switch between ECO, Comfort, and Sport modes. The base model also comes standard with:
- 4-wheel multilink suspension
- Torque vectoring brake for precision turns
- Electromechanical power steering
Fuel-Efficient Performance
The base trim has an emission certification of Bin20.SULEV20 and delivers 33 mpg highway fuel economy and 25 mpg city fuel economy. Every model also has the ECO Start/Stop system which automatically shuts off the engine in idle situations to reduce emissions and save fuel.
Other efficiency-improving technologies include the 9G-Tronic automatic transmission that lets you control gear changes from the steering wheel and improve shifting between modes with the hydrodynamic torque converter and planetary gear system. Standard equipment also includes the NANOSLIDE cylinder wall technology created in a patented process to improve durability, performance, and efficiency.
High-Tech Safety Features
The E-Class is equipped with sophisticated technologies to ensure safer driving, including the innovative Car-to-X communication system to notify of dangers, the PRE-SAFE system that detects instability during maneuvers to prevent collision or rollovers, and PRE-SAFE Sound that reduces the driver’s hearing impacts of a collision.
