The 2026 Mercedes-AMG® SL 63 Roadster makes 577 horsepower; the SL 63 S E PERFORMANCE makes 805. Both pair a handcrafted 4.0-liter V8 biturbo with AMG® Performance 4MATIC® all-wheel drive. See the performance specs below, then view our SL Roadster inventory.

The Mercedes-AMG® SL 63 Roadster is built around a handcrafted AMG® 4.0-liter V8 biturbo that produces 577 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. With the standard RACESTART® launch function and AMG® Performance 4MATIC® all-wheel drive, it reaches 60 mph in about 3.5 seconds, when properly equipped. AMG® ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL uses hydraulic active roll stabilization to keep the body flat through corners, while an electronic limited-slip differential maximizes grip out of a tight bend. Full figures appear on the AMG® SL 63 page at Mercedes-Benz USA.

The SL 63 S E PERFORMANCE adds Formula 1-inspired electrification to the same V8. A 150 kW electric motor on the rear axle, fed by a 6.1 kWh high-performance battery, lifts combined output to 805 horsepower and 1,047 lb-ft of torque. The result is a 0 to 60 mph sprint of about 2.8 seconds, when properly equipped, managed by AMG® Performance 4MATIC® all-wheel drive and a front-axle lift for steep driveways. You can review the official numbers on the SL 63 S E PERFORMANCE page.

Both models keep the SL true to its roadster roots with a three-layer fabric soft top that raises or lowers in seconds, plus 2+2 seating for occasional rear passengers. The AMG® SPEEDSHIFT® MCT nine-speed transmission and adjustable drive programs let the SL relax into a smooth cruiser for a summer evening along Lake Michigan, then sharpen for a spirited run on a winding country road. AIRSCARF® neck-level heating extends open-top season well into a cool Wisconsin spring or fall.
For all of its performance, the SL remains usable day to day. The cabin pairs supportive sport seats with the MBUX multimedia system, wireless device integration, and genuine craftsmanship, so a drive to dinner in Glendale is as comfortable as a weekend tour. Standard active safety systems and AMG® braking hardware add confidence, and our team can walk you through how the SL 63 and SL 63 S E PERFORMANCE differ before you choose.
