Mercedes-Benz vehicles operate within a precisely engineered maintenance schedule called Service A and Service B. These factory-required service intervals are designed to keep your vehicle performing at the standard it was built to achieve, and they include specific components and procedures that go beyond a simple oil change.
At Mercedes-Benz of Milwaukee North, every Service A and Service B appointment is performed by factory-trained technicians following the latest Mercedes-Benz specifications. We use Genuine Mercedes-Benz parts throughout, and we confirm the maintenance counter is properly reset when the service is complete. Our Glendale service center serves drivers across the North Shore Milwaukee area, including Whitefish Bay, Shorewood, Fox Point, Mequon, and Bayside.

Mercedes-Benz vehicles built for model year 2009 and newer use the ASSYST PLUS system to monitor driving conditions, oil quality, and mileage and calculate exactly when your specific vehicle needs service. The system alternates between Service A and Service B, with each service typically occurring around 10,000 miles from the last one.
Because the system is adaptive, two identical vehicles driven under different conditions may require service at different times. Vehicles used primarily for short-distance urban driving may require service sooner than highway-driven vehicles. When your instrument cluster displays a service reminder, the vehicle has determined that the scheduled maintenance is due based on your actual driving conditions.
Service A is the foundational scheduled maintenance for Mercedes-Benz vehicles and includes:
Service B builds on Service A and adds additional maintenance items that are required on a longer interval:
Price advertised for Service A/Service B includes all factory-required components. Please refer to your maintenance booklet for the complete list of factory-required services and details on the specific intervals for your vehicle’s year and model.

Mercedes-Benz specifies synthetic motor oil that meets its own internal approval standards for viscosity, oxidation resistance, and compatibility with engine materials. Using a non-approved oil, even a high-quality synthetic from another brand, means the oil has not been validated against Mercedes-Benz engine hardware, seal materials, and operating temperatures.
The same standard applies to the oil filter. Mercedes-Benz specifies a Fleece filter element for its ability to capture finer particulates than standard cellulose media without restricting oil flow. Using an aftermarket filter with different flow characteristics or filtration efficiency introduces variables the engine was not designed around.
Our parts department stocks approved oil and Genuine Mercedes-Benz Fleece oil filters for every model we service. Every Service A and Service B appointment uses the correct specification for your vehicle.

Our service lounge is designed for guests who value their time. Complimentary Wi-Fi, workstations, and refreshments are available while you wait. For appointments that require more time, loaner vehicles are available for qualifying service visits so your day is not interrupted.
Our service advisors will walk you through exactly what was performed during your appointment and let you know about any additional items identified during the complimentary multi-point inspection included with every visit. You will leave with a clear, documented record of the work completed and what, if anything, requires attention in the future.
