The 2027 Mercedes-AMG® GT Electric is a new vehicle built on the AMG®.EA dedicated electric architecture, with no prior AMG® GT Electric model year to compare against.

The platform introduces a tri-motor layout with one front-axle motor and two rear-axle motors, producing a maximum system output of 805 hp and 1,328 lb-ft of torque. A 106-kWh battery using an 800-volt electrical architecture supports DC fast charging at up to 600 kW, with a stated 10-to-80% charging time of as little as 11 minutes under suitable charging and battery conditions.

AMG®FORCE Sport+ mode introduces simulated gear changes and a synthesized V8-inspired sound profile as part of the vehicle’s performance-focused driving experience.

The available AMG® RACE ENGINEER Control Unit gives the driver rotary controls for Response, Agility, and Traction parameters. Active rear-axle steering can turn the rear wheels by up to 6 degrees to support maneuverability at lower speeds and stability at higher speeds.

The available AEROKINETICS VENTURI FLOW system uses an active rear diffuser to manage underbody airflow dynamically. A power rear spoiler is standard and deploys automatically according to vehicle operating conditions.

The 2027 AMG® GT 55 4-Door Coupe is built around the AMG®.EA tri-motor architecture. One permanently excited synchronous axial-flux motor is positioned at the front axle and two are positioned at the rear axle, with compact reduction gearing integrated into the electric drive units.

The 106-kWh lithium-ion battery uses an 800-volt electrical architecture.
